A care services provider is planning to step up its expansion plans after securing fresh support from its bank.
Founded in 1997, the Safehands Corporation provides domiciliary care and related services, delivering support to thousands of people each week. Its services include mobile crèches, nurseries, holidays for the disabled and home care.Safehands Corporation has received a £1.5m funding package from Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Preston to help develop the businesses further. This follows a deal for £1.6m last July which allowed the group to invest in its growing nursery chain.
Paul Manning, managing director of Safehands Corporation, said: “The last year has been an important time for the group and we have been investing heavily in supporting our growth plans."Safehands Corporation, which works in partnership with a number of public sector organisations, employs more than 450 full and part-time staff. Its current turnover is approximately £6.5m.
The latest round of funding will allow the company to develop it’s home care and nursery businesses further which will involve the employment of further operational staff, with turnover expected to rise to in excess of £10m in the next five years.
