Saatchi and Saatchi chairman Kevin Roberts has been put on leave by the advertising agency after saying the debate about gender bias in the advertising industry is "over".
interview with Business InsiderHe has since been asked to take a leave of absence by the company, effective immediately, with Saatchi chairman and CEO Maurice Levy saying the business "will not tolerate" anyone who does not value the importance of inclusion.
He added: "It is for the gravity of these statements that Kevin Roberts has been asked to take a leave of absence from Publicis Groupe effective immediately. As a member of The Directoire, it will ultimately be the Publicis Groupe Supervisory Board's duty to further evaluate his standing.
