The Wellbeing Farm wedding and events venue was founded by Celia Gaze in 2013. It has been chosen to be part of this year’s SmallBiz100 line- up, which showcases impressive, independent businesses from across the nation.
Now in its tenth year in the UK Small Business Saturday will return on 3 December 2022, with a mission to support and celebrate the UK’s 5.5 million small businesses, particularly as they face mounting economic challenges over the winter.
“Being selected to be one of the UK’s most inspiring firms is incredible. We’ve worked hard during the past two years on sustainability and business growth following Covid which devastated the wedding industry, so being selected as a SmallBiz100 is an accolade to all our hard work.”
The Wellbeing Farm was profiled by the campaign on 28th September as part of the 100-day countdown to Small Business Saturday UK.
“It’s fantastic to celebrate small firms just like The Wellbeing Farm as part of our 10-year anniversary of the campaign,” said Michelle Ovens, director of Small Business Saturday UK.
“Over the past decade we have been able to spotlight dynamic businesses from across the nation, who remind us of the incredible tenacity and determination of small firms in this country. It’s brilliant to have The Wellbeing Farm in this year’s SmallBiz100 line-up.”

“To celebrate our win, we are going to do something special for Small Business Saturday and local small independent businesses. On Saturday 3rd December we are going to create a great festive day out for the whole family: The Wellbeing Farm MAD Green and Ethical Christmas Fair – the fair which Makes a Difference,” says Celia Gaze, founder and managing director.
"A fair to keep Christmas celebrations local, sustainable, and ethical, while also providing a space for creative entrepreneurs to share their work. An area of the Fair will also be devoted to recycling / upcycling with sustainable products being the priority. This will provide an opportunity for small businesses but also consumers, to be aware around the importance of considering more ethical, sustainable gifts as Christmas presents."
