ROQ spreads Christmas cheer with donations to Chorley Women’s Refuge

ROQ, the software testing provider, has chosen Chorley Women’s Refuge as its 2016 Christmas cause, to support the vital work the organisation does in assisting families in need.

Chorley Women’s Refuge provides emergency and on-going accommodation and support to women who are fleeing domestic violence. Women and their children often arrive at the refuge with few or no belongings so the charity says donations like these are appreciated all year round.

ROQ colleagues also gave a helping hand to Chorley Food Bank with festive donations for the charity’s Christmas hampers. The team delivered bags full of delicious treats to Living Waters Church, ready to be packed into parcels and distributed across the area. Dozens of mince pies, chocolates, gingerbread, puddings and cakes were donated for the yuletide hampers.
