The Oysters and Pearls event, held at Blackpool and The Fylde College on November 20, takes place during Global Entrepreneurship Week, and will see 35 female students benefit from motivational talks, debates and discussion.
The event has been organised by Role UK and is supported by the North and West Lancs Chamber of Commerce.
"Many of the students selected by the college will never have met women who owns their own businesses or are in a senior role so being able to meet and chat to women from across a range of jobs and sectors is an amazing opportunity, especially when the setting is informal and the whole day is fun.
"Approximately 70 per cent of the wonderful women who support the Oysters and Pearls events offer to mentor students following the day, so a lasting legacy is created.”
The next Oysters and Pearls event will run between 9am and 2pm on the 20th November and a hot buffet lunch will be served during the event. There is optional networking from 2pm until 3pm, which will include a glass of bubbly. Role and BFC are looking for 35 wonderful women who are prepared to spend an inspiring day working with the girls.
