Customers, family and friends were the first to see the new look Roaming Roosters venue following a bistro and farm shop refurbishment.
The Seafood Pub Company group recently acquired the Roosters Bistro, adding it to its existing portfolio of eight eateries and enabling the Roosters team to concentrate on the expanded farm shop.Mark Kelly, new manager of the farm shop said: “This is a really exciting time at Roaming Roosters; we wanted to refresh the farm shop, offering customers more quality meat products and also other locally sourced produce such as fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade bread and a great selection in the deli counter.
“The farm shop incorporates all shopping needs, and we’re looking forward to enticing customers with our great offers, products and services.”Joycelyn Neve, managing director of the Seafood Pub Company, said: “We’ve spent some time getting to know the team and customers and have really taken their feedback on board, incorporating their requests and ideas into the new look Roosters Bistro.
“We held a number of private parties and networking events in the evening and had regular requests to serve food later than previously offered, which is why we have now introduced evening service on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.“It also enables parents to bring their children up for an early meal after school or during holidays.”
The refurbishment has created a cosy and comfortable feel, keeping in line with the rustic farmhouse surroundings. The new menu still boasts plenty of the best sellers and Rooster favourites, alongside a new chargrill section which is ideal for lunch and dinner, but also those special occasions. The existing farm shop has also undergone plenty of changes; the shop has been extended, making way for more meat products and new ranges for customers to enjoy.
