Richard Abell joins Tensar board

Ground stabilisation and soil reinforcement specialist Tensar has appointed Richard Abell as regional director for the UK and Ireland.

Richard has significant experience across a range of industries, particularly construction products, and has worked for a number of the leading manufacturers in senior technical, sales and marketing roles.

He said: “Tensar has a great reputation for technical excellence and innovation. I am looking forward to building our standing ever-further, working with our customers to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges across the UK and Ireland.”

Richard will be based in Tensar’s Blackburn office, supported by Craig Roberts, who is responsible for Tensar’s northern region, and Ben Stringfellow, who has responsibility for the southern region. Luc Mechelaere, executive vice president, eastern hemisphere, said: "We are delighted to have someone of Richard’s experience joining our business."
