The finalists for this year’s much-sought-after Red Rose Awards trophies have been revealed.
The winner in each of the 23 categories up for grabs will be announced on stage at a glittering, black tie ceremony held at the iconic Winter Gardens Blackpool on March 13.
In the meantime, every nominee will be given the chance to make their case to a panel of judges during two days of face-to-face presentations on February 5 and 6.
Burnley College is the judging partner and audit, tax and consulting firm RSM, another key supporter, has now completed the validation stage.
The awards represent the best of the county’s key sectors, from built environment to tourism, while others recognise specific achievements, such as scaling up, and transformation.
Categories ranging from micro business to large business, as well as not-for-profit and family business award means businesses of all sizes are in with a shot.
New for 2025 is the Transport and Logistics Award recognising a leader in the transport and logistics sector, delivering innovative solutions that have a tangible impact on their clients.
The winner of each category will receive a bespoke trophy specially crafted by PDS Engineering.
Red Rose Awards is once again supported by Forbes Solicitors, headline sponsor every year since the awards were launched in 2011, and Barclays, headline sponsor for more than a decade.
The ceremony will be a special occasion as the awards will be celebrating their 15th anniversary.
Joanne Hindley, sales director of Lancashire Business View which hosts the awards, said: “The Red Rose Awards has become one of the highlights in the Lancashire business calendar and 2025 is going to be another incredible event.
“Reading through the entries, there are so many inspiring stories across the whole of the county, and we can’t wait to celebrate them. The shortlist contains household brands which everyone will know, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with new faces in Lancashire business.
“We wish all of the finalists the best of luck and we hopefully will see you in Blackpool.”
Tickets are currently available to shortlisted companies before the remainder go on general sale.
