Blackpool Air Show is returning in August, promising two-days of aerial entertainment capped by a display by the Red Arrows.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which features a Spitfire, a Hurricane and a Lancaster Bomber, will take part in a patriotic display.
Cllr Gillian Campbell, deputy leader of Blackpool Council, said: “The Blackpool Air Show is always one of the highlights of Blackpool’s summer." Blackpool's upcoming tourism programme also includes Ride the Lights on August 28, Illuminations Switch On on August 31, Britney Spears in concert on September 1, and Lightpool the World Fireworks Championships and Nickleodeon's SlimeFest.
