Bamber Bridge-based Quality Essential Distribution (QED) has promoted Matt Philp to the role of managing director.
Matt has worked for the security products specialist for more than 20 years and was most recently product development director.
He has ambitions of expanding the firm's product portfolio, launching a new corporate identity and driving the business forward.
