PWA promotes senior planner to associate

Preston-based planning consultancy PWA Planning has promoted senior planner Josh Hellawell to the role of associate.

Josh joined the firm in 2016 as an assistant planner and has worked across sectors including housing, sports stadia, and commercial development.

While at PWA he has advised clients including Seddon Homes, Huddersfield Town Football Club, Fort Vale Engineering, Community Gateway Association, Northern Trust and FDC Holdings.

He has also gained specialist knowledge of the renewable energy sector as part of PWA’s Energy Planning division, which is seeing growing demand as the UK’s energy transition continues to gather pace.

His promotion will see him leading a team of planners working to secure permission for projects across the UK.
