Lancashire-based planning consultancy PWA Planning has appointed three new staff to support continued growth at the firm.
Josh Hellawell has joined as an assistant planner from Green Switch Solutions where he was involved in producing planning applications for large scale solar energy farms around the UK.Meanwhile, Maria Utting has joined as a planning and administrative apprentice and Edel Barr has been appointed as a personal assistant to the management team.

Josh, Maria and Edel will enable us to continue providing a great planning and development service to our clients.“Josh brings with him experience of working on some high-profile planning applications in the renewable energy sector, boosting our expertise in this specialist area of planning.”
PWA Planning has experienced steady growth since it was founded by Paul Walton in 2013 and now has eight staff. Its recent projects include planning services for the proposed £100m Eco Park in Gloucestershire on behalf of Ecotricity, a multi-million-pound mixed-use football stadium and leisure development for Scunthorpe United, and the £8m Eden Boys School in Preston.
