Prospect Homes has sent its construction teams back to work in sites in Lancashire.
The Liverpool-based homebuilder is currently working on projects in The Ridings in Longridge and Rose Gardens and Greenfields, both in Clitheroe.
To keep individuals safe, there will be a reduced workforce on site and additional safety signage in place.
Martin Caldwell, head of construction at Prospect Homes, said: "We closed our sites as a precautionary measure five weeks ago and have been working behind the scenes to ensure staff can make a safe return to work.
"The health and safety of our colleagues and customers is of utmost importance and in line with government and Construction Leadership Council (CLC) guidance we have introduced additional measures on site. For example, when construction teams return to work there will be restrictions on the number of people on site at any one time to enable social distancing. There will also be additional hand washing and sanitising stations, plus we will be carrying out cleaning more frequently."
