Preston's College has been nominated in four categories at the Educate North Awards.
The college itself is a finalist in the Social Mobility, Community Engagement and Further Education College of the Year categories.
The nominations are a reflection of the college's contribution to employment prospects of students from lower socio-economic backgrounds, as well as outstanding performance in the areas of teaching, student experience, innovation and economic impact.
Lecturer Zac Wilkinson has also been nominated for the Teaching Excellence Award.
The winners will be announced on April 23 at a ceremony in Manchester.
Dr Lis Smith, principal and chief executive of Preston’s College said: "The nominations evidence the hard work of staff across a wide range of departments here at the college."
