Burnley-based digital agency +24 has appointed Carrie Nestor as operations director.
Carrie brings 15 years of experience to the role. She is a Lancaster University law graduate and spent the last two years as operations director at Magma, the Chorley-based software, development and consultancy firm.
The appointment is a strategic move to bolster the senior team as managing director Dave Walker seeks to further grow the business, and is in the process of creating a raft of new jobs, including senior software developer roles and a marketing manager.
Carrie said: "I’m really excited about this new challenge, the leadership team seem down-to-earth and Dave is clearly a master of his trade. I can’t wait to enable and add to his vision and plans moving into 2021.
"My appointment comes at a pivotal time for +24, especially with the launch of The +24 Academy next year, so I’ll be working tirelessly to raise the company’s profile."
Dave added: "2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and we feel very fortunate to have continued our strong growth and provide a glimmer of positivity by creating new job roles.
"I firmly believe the recovery of the economy next year will be heavily reliant on the digital sector which will lead to our biggest year yet but perhaps most importantly, the launch of The +24 Academy which aims to help reduce the devastating impact the digital skills gap has on the UK economy."
