PHX Training has been accredited to the matrix standard in recognition of the high quality of its job and training advice.
PHX operates job centres in Blackpool, Preston and Morecambe and delivers government-backed initiatives including adult skills including maths, English and vocational courses, employability contracts and apprenticeships.
The matrix standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering.
Briony Fawcett, managing director of PHX Training, said: "We pride ourselves on offering a high quality advice service to everybody who walks through the door of our training centres. We can guide people who are looking to get back into work, training for a new career, seeking out an apprenticeship or simply learning a new skill.
"With the uncertain economic times ahead, it is vital that anybody who is in a difficult position gets the best possible advice and support to help them get back into work, and I’m proud that we have been recognised for that high quality of service."
Roger Chapman, head of the matrix service for The Growth Company, said: "The matrix standard is designed to benchmark organisations against best practice in these areas. With their accreditation success, PHX Training is working to provide the best possible support to their clients."
