PHX Training has expanded its footprint by opening an office in Blackburn town centre.
The new site, the company's eighth in the North West, will deliver career coaching, workshops and mentoring to individuals looking to develop their professional and personal skills.
PHX offers a range of training and vocational courses, including basic English and maths and IT skills, up to specific work sectors qualifications in health and social care, warehousing and business administration.
It also supports people back in to work by building training plans and careers advice, free access to computers and printers, CV writing workshops and interview techniques, as well as access to local employers who are hiring.
The new office, based at The Community Hub on Railway Road, is led by manager Shaf Ahmed, alongside three professional tutors and one admin assistant, with plans to recruit for additional roles in the future.
Briony Fawcett, managing director of PHX Training, comments: “We are delighted to finally be opening a centre in Blackburn, a town we have had strong ties to for a number of years."
