The team at Blush Digital has been busy developing brand new software for Picento, the company that specialises in photography at theme parks, cruise ships, casinos and more.
Picento has been providing attractions with their photography software for the past 20 years, allowing customers to get high-quality professional images of their fun days out.Due to the rise in smart devices, Picento needed to look at what they could do in order to follow the latest trends in technology. Picento approached Blush Digital after an unsuccessful nationwide search for a company able to develop what they had in mind.
Their previous process utilised various other third party software systems, as well as other manual processes, with a bespoke system that was integrated with their cameras, printers and mobile apps. Blush stepped in and developed a complete end-to-end system including an online portal, mac photo booth software and mobile apps which allowed Picento to fully manage their customers, payments and edit photographs whilst allowing customers to purchase the photograph packages including digital copies to share on social media with family and friends.Steve Lee of Picento said: “Blush Digital is a company that just knew what we wanted right from the get-go. They created the software from our designs, they did it exactly as we wanted. Blush have now developed Picento to such an extent that we can now launch this onto a world market.”
Daniel FIsher of Blush Digital added:” Working on such a project was a really enjoyable challenge for us. We used our extensive software knowledge to create something entirely bespoke for Picento. It’s something no one else has! We wanted to create software that was simple for users, so that when they are walking around the attraction they can collect and select the photos they want printed, as well as offer them the opportunity to share their pictures on social media.” After a successful summer of testing at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Picento are now ready to further develop the software with Blush Digital and roll it out to other theme parks and cruise ships around the world.Enjoyed this?
