Preston-based Pet Hamper has won the contract to supply its luxury gifts to guests of an exclusive five-star hotel in London.
The company has created a special hamper for The Prince Akatoki London, with a bespoke selection of goodies and a colour-way designed to match the hotel’s tranquil decor.
These hampers, finished with a personalised luggage-style tag, are available on request for guests travelling with their dogs.
Research shows that 90 per cent of owners consider their pet a member of the family and half of them travel with their dogs, likely to avoid hotels that don't accommodate them.
When The Prince Akatoki noticed just how many of their guests brought dogs, they opted to make special provisions, leading to the partnership with Pet Hamper.
Mark Jackson, founder of Pet Hamper, said: “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with such a well-respected hotel, especially as we’re still a relatively young company, having launched just before the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We created the business when we went looking for a hamper to gift to our pet-owning friends. We couldn’t find anything that really fit the bill, so we created our own.
“It’s been a great start with high demand - both in terms of individual orders as well as securing high-profile partnerships with the likes of The Prince Akatoki London and Vodafone. We’re growing from strength to strength and we’re excited to continue building our brand.”
