Family-run estate agents Pendle Hill Properties have joined the Winter Coats campaign in conjunction with Rotary and the national Wrap Up campaign.
The estate agent, who recently expanded into a new premises at 74 Berry Lane, is passionate about giving back to their local community and have already done lots of work to benefit local schools and communities.
As part of the Winter Coats campaign, Pendle Hill Properties are collecting serviceable, warm heavy duty winter coats of all sizes and ages to be distributed to homeless shelters, refugee centres, organisations supporting the elderly, women’s refuges, children’s centres, and other charities helping people in crisis.
The new Pendle Hill Properties franchise will act as a drop off point during opening hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-12pm), and people are being encouraged to have a look in their wardrobes, see if there’s anything that doesn’t fit or they don’t need.
The campaign runs from 6th - 30th October 2023.
Thomas Turner, Sales Director at Pendle Hill Properties, said: “We are proud to be working with Wrap Up Central Lancashire on a fantastic community initiative.
“We are looking for people to drop off warm, serviceable winter coats to our office at 74 Berry Lane, which will then be passed onto people who can really benefit from them.
“We will be taking collectione coats during of thoffice hours, which is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-12pm – we look forward to welcoming everyone into our franchise.”
