The winners of Pendle Business Awards 2016 were revealed at a glittering ceremony at the Fence Gate Inn.
John Gillmore (Gilly), BBC Radio Lancashire’s afternoon and Saturday breakfast presenter, hosted the black-tie event organised jointly by Pendle Council and Pendle Vision Board.
“There was a lot of excitement as the winners of each award were revealed, which made for an electric atmosphere.”
Winners once again took away a coveted Pendle trophy – a glass and metal sculpture inspired by Pendle Hill, made by local company Merc Aerospace.
The Awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate Pendle’s businesses which have great ambition and are highly skilled in their sectors.
Dennis Mendoros, chairman of Pendle Vision Board, added: “Congratulations to all our winners and those who made the shortlist.
“A big thank you to Gregory AV which helped to make sure the evening was professionally presented and thank you to everyone who sponsored the evening – it really helped to make it a very memorable one.”
Businesses helped to raise £1,540 on the night for this year’s nominated charity Nelson & District Royal British Legion.
