A new peer-to-peer support group has launched to help to empower leaders operating in the not-for-profit sector.
Community & Business Partners created the Third Sector Peer Support Group to bring together professionals dedicated to making a difference in their communities, offering them a platform to share knowledge, resources, and experiences.
As demand for services within the not-for-profit sector continues to rise, professionals working in the field often find themselves grappling with unique challenges ranging from fundraising and volunteer management to sustainability and regulatory compliance.
The group offers a safe space for peers to come together, collaborate and strengthen the sector's impact.
The support group will feature guest speakers who will conduct a series of informative masterclasses on a wide range of topics including marketing, fundraising, and commercialisation.
It will also serve as a network for individuals to build meaningful connections with their peers, fostering a sense of community and unity within the not-for-profit sector.
The sessions are fully funded by Community & Business Partners, using their own community fund, which is built from their unique CBP Membership contributions.
Deborah Blades, community and business development manager at CBP, said: “We recognise the incredible work that not-for-profit professionals do every day, and we understand the unique challenges they face. By bringing third sector experts and peers together in a supportive environment, we aim to empower them to continue making a meaningful impact in their communities.”
