Contract fabric manufacturer Panaz has appointed Kayleigh Bradburn as a graduate designer after she impressing during a summer placement last year.
Kayleigh has joined the Burnley company full-time following the completion of her Textile Design Degree at the University of Central Lancashire, where she specialised in surface pattern for interiors.
She will support the experienced team of designers in creating new designs for Panaz’s high-performance fabrics for the hospitality, healthcare, workspace and cruise sectors.
Specialising in colourations for new collections, whilst conducting research into latest colours and trends, Kayleigh also forms an essential part of Panaz’s in-house bespoke design team serving the American market.
Kayleigh said: “The design department here at Panaz is a really fast-paced environment. This has enabled me to think strategically about the role of design within commercial settings to ensure every fabric we produce not only reflects the latest design trends but sets the standard for quality and functionality.”
Sarah Lloyd, head of design at Panaz, said: “We are so pleased that Kayleigh has joined the team. The move to appoint a graduate designer emphasises our long-term commitment to investing in the future of both the business and the wider design industry.
"Working with the next generation of talent is vital to ensuring we achieve sustained growth and Kayleigh has already become an integral member of the team."
