Padiham-based fuel shortlisted for British Excellence in Sales and Marketing award

Craggs Energy has been shortlisted in the top 12 for the Sales Team of the Year with Under 50 Employees at the British Excellence in Sales and Marketing awards.

For this category the judges are looking for sales focus, a closely working team, exceptional sales results and effective working practice. A judging day will take place on 9 and 10 November before the final on Wednesday March 9 in London.

The Craggs Energy sales team is located across our Burnley and Hebden Bridge depots but each cover their own specific area allowing them to build a long term relationship with 8,000 nationwide customers. The team varies by age, including 91 year old field sales rep Lewis, to 16 year old apprentice, Jack.

Their apprentice academy was launched in August 2015, hiring seven local students who have begun learning about all the aspects of the Oil industry including sales, marketing, finance and operations. On completion of the 12 month scheme the seven apprentices will join the Craggs team before helping us find our next batch of apprentices.
