Oysters and Pearls seeks inspirational ladies

Lancashire Ladies: It's that time of year again when we ask you to share your experiences with the next generation. 

We're back at Nelson and Colne College with 40 of their 16 year old young ladies and we need your help to inspire them.

If you've been to one of our Oysters and Pearls events before - and this will be our 8th one (!) you will know that the day can be life-changing for the students. 

If you've never been before, we'd love to meet you.  We won't ask you to stand up and talk, just to share in motivational exercises and some one on one conversation with the girls.

We'll give you a super lunch and a chance to meet new contacts, but mostly we'll give you the chance to give something back, to offer something maybe you wish you'd had when you were 16; a chance to meet women from all sorts of occupations in an informal and fun way and to realise that there's so many jobs you didn't even know existed, right here in Lancashire.

Please do something different to celebrate International Women's Day this year, give 5 hours of your time, it really is an amazing thing to do for the next generation.
