More than half the space at a new speculative development in Preston has already been pre-let before completion.
The new site by Tustin Developments comprising 13 single storey business units at Fulwell Court, Red Scar Business Park, has been part-let to a local company Sign-Build, who will move in on completion in late June. They are taking 9,000 sq ft whilst Peelology is relocating from the Ribble Valley into larger premises of 1,700 sq ft. A further two lettings are with solicitors, leaving just three units available from 715 sq ft to 2,145 sq ft. The units are been marketed by joint agents Robert Pinkus & Co.
Richard Hargreaves, commercial property manager at Tustin Developments, said: "We are delighted to secure pre-lets to both an expanding exisiting customer and also welcome several new companies to the business park. This is fantastic news for the development and proof that the demand is out there."Interest levels for both existing and new plots at Red Scar have remained high throughout 2015 to date, which is great for business. Following the success of Fulwell Court, we are shortly to commence building a further 32 units from 750 sq ft to 8,000 sq ft which should be ready for occupation late Spring 2016." Danny Pinkus of Robert Pinkus & Co, said: "It is great to see speculative development taking place once more in the Central Lancashire area and although it is one of the few sites under construction, the initial interest in Fulwell Court confirms that there is a real demand for quality, industrial units and we hope more developers will follow suit."
