Local IT Security company OpenIP has teamed up with computer giants Dell to host a free event for SME's on network security.
With 79 per cent of companies having been breached in the past year, the event is set to help business owners and employees get more savvy about their systems.Inviting all local businesses, OpenIP stated: "It is really useful and essential you learn more about how to protect against data breaches given the mainstream attacks that have happened recently."
The day is set to be be informative and fun! with Dell sponsoring and speaking at the event, each guest will receive a race card and meal on the day.OpenIP say they aren’t charging for the event because it’s so important to learn more about network security- it will be really useful both business owners and staff to attend. At the moment, 62 per cent of cyber-breach victims are SME’s with employee negligence being the main cause of breaches. This is down to lack of knowledge and poor understanding.
The IT specialists will be supplying food and drinks as well as complimentary transport from Bolton and Manchester which is available on request. It will take place on 15 July, hosted by OpenIP in conjunction with Dell. If you would like any more information please contact Lucy on 01204 707146 or email [email protected].Enjoyed this?
