Open ECX recorded major new contract wins, an expanded workforce and a growing international presence in a successful 2020.
The Ribchester-based firm provides a cloud-based service which helps construction businesses to manage their supply chains. New customers include Taylor Woodrow, GMI Construction, McLaughlin & Harvey and Henry Boot Construction, with existing customers such as Readie Construction and EH Smith committing to new, long term partnerships.
In addition, Open ECX’s WebContractor, which allows for a simple end-to-end management process of payment applications, has reported over 3,500 confirmed users with £628m worth of applications approved in 2020, up 28 per cent over the previous year.
The company also recruited ten new employees last year and has acquired additional office space in Manchester city centre which will house its commercial team.
Matthew Jones, the company's founder, said: "Despite the current climate, it really has been a great year for us as a business. We’ve brought some great new clients on board and have seen the team grow drastically since the start of 2020. The growth we’ve enjoyed is testament to our brilliant products, and of course the talented team behind them.
"We’re really pleased with how the year has gone and are hoping for an even more successful 2021, as we continue to innovate the construction industry."
