A Lancashire online retail company is celebrating this week after being given a top accolade by Amazon for record product sales notched up in the build up to Christmas.
Rosetta Brands Ltd, which has just moved into the Rural Business Centre in Bilsborrow near Preston, got a commendation for its outstanding sales performance and customer satisfaction in 2012.
And company turnover has quadrupled since the start of last year and according to Nick could now be heading for £1m in 2013.
Nick said: “We are absolutely thrilled. It’s nice to be recognised by the industry and this couldn’t have come a better time. We have just moved into custom built offices at Myerscough where we have installed new software and backup systems to cope with ever increasing demand. We are actively recruiting staff and also expanding our Lancashire product range and also our international product range.”
Rosetta also has products such as Gameface - Team Teeth and Flair Hair – all distributed from a special gifts distribution depot in Kendal, Cumbria.
The Rosetta Brands success story continues as they have just signed a deal to be the online retailer for world famous Lancashire vegetable growers Robinsons of Forton - home of the Mammoth Onion.
“We are connecting the local farm products to the internet," said Nick who says he would be delighted to hear from any local or regional food manufacturers who want to expand their online presence via Amazon.Meanwhile big sellers for the summer are such as items as special beer and wine chillers and Nick is also in talks with FIFA to become the official supplier of branded gift and novelty products for the next World Cup in Brazil in 2014. Samba drums or Vuvuzelas? “Watch this space”, says Nick.
