Preston-based NutreeLife will create new jobs to fulfil its growing order book after has securing a loan of a quarter of a million pounds.
The business was founded in 2017 by Patrick Mroczak, CEO, and Adam Hodgkinson, managing director, who spotted a gap in the market for a vegan and ‘free from’ range of protein supplements following their time spent working together at MyProtein.
The products quickly found their market and to meet growing demand NutreeLife is set to expand its premises and headcount. To facilitate the expansion, the company approached Paul Humphray, investment director at MSIF, who organised the £250,000 loan.
Patrick said: “The funds are being used to expand our operation and create more innovative products as we customise our products to suit our customer’s needs and demand."
Paul added: “I have enjoyed working with Patrick and the team at NutreeLife. Their product is niche and high-quality; they are already attracting some big names in the food and beverages industry. The team works very well together and I look forward to seeing what they will achieve following their expansion.”
