Ecommerce and hosting experts Nublue will be sponsoring this year’s Castle Stage at Lancaster Music Festival. The local event will be held for the 8th time this October – and it’s the third time that Nublue will be sponsoring.
The festival will feature over 400 acts, in over 40 locations. Covering a huge range of genres and musical styles, crammed into 700 hours of live music throughout the weekend (though it runs from the 13th -17th October). Nublue sponsor the festival’s Castle Stage, aptly named because of its location on the grounds of Lancaster Castle. It’s Lancaster’s answer to Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage and throughout the weekend will host some of the festival’s headline acts, rounding off the event with a set from hotly tipped band ‘Lake Komo’.
The festival will completely engulf the city throughout its duration, with venues dotted around on almost every corner along with live acts taking to the street, the atmosphere is set to be fantastic. The event continues to grow in size and reputation and this year is going to be the biggest and most impressive to date.Nublue MD Michael Ashworth had this to say about the sponsorship: "Both we and Lancaster Music Festival have enjoyed a lot of growth in recent years and it’s great to be involved with such a brilliant event. Sponsoring the main stage enables us to engage with a local audience and shows how proud we are to be a Lancaster based company." Entry fee for the Castle stage is £1 for each visit, however for £5 you can purchase a weekend Castle pass, giving you unlimited entry. These can be bought – along with merchandise and other tickets (for things such as the festival workshops) from the merchandise stall in the Castle or from the Info Booth located in Market Square.
