The company's commitment to innovative design was recognised with the prestigious Red Rose Design Award 2024, acknowledging a decade of meaningful product development in Lancashire.
This was followed by a Prolific North 'Creative for Good' award for thinAir, a groundbreaking product that's demonstrating significant impact on cancer treatment, dementia care, and mental wellbeing.
In response to continued growth, npd relocated to an expanded studio in Preston, featuring enhanced prototyping facilities and collaborative spaces. This move coincides with the company's strategic expansion into new markets and industries, including elite sports and aerospace.
Notable projects from 2024 include:
- Partnership with Shift to create the first fully plastic-free deodorant vessel
- Launch of Arc Master, representing ten years of development in golf training technology
- Collaboration with MSP to power Glastonbury's Arcadia stage using BESS, an innovative pre-charged energy storage system
- Development of the Quintic ball tracking camera for elite sports analysis
- Continued growth of Site Pod, improving construction site safety standards nationwide
