Skelmersdale-based Hot 100 company Northern Packaging has been purchased by Altrincham's CorpAcq.
It is the investment group's 11th acquisition, its first in the packaging sector.Family-owned Northern Packaging operates from two sites in Skelmersdale, where it employs 80 and sales exceeded £11m.
The business manufactures environmentally-friendly corrugated packaging for customers in a range of sectors, including food and drink, retail and healthcare.Current managing director Phil Bunting will maintain his role. The management team also includes finance director Joy McEvoy and commercial director Ben Dack.
