MHA Moore and Smalley, Forbes Solicitors, NatWest and The Family Business Network are hosting an interactive breakfast seminar aimed at the owners, managing directors and finance directors of North West businesses on Thursday 23rd May, in Garstang, Lancashire.
The morning seminar, ‘Where next for your business?’ is set to offer a valuable learning experience through a packed two-hour agenda, including an insight and interview with a local business owner plus a panel discussion offering advice on how to plan for the future of your business. The discussion points will cover a number of topics including finance options for growth, business resilience and planning for exit. The seminar will be concluded by a question and answer session open to all delegates.
Speakers on the day will include event host Sue Howorth of The Family Business Network, Ian Settle - director at NatWest Bank, Pauline Rigby – partner at Forbes Solicitors, Stephen Gregson - corporate finance director at MHA Moore and Smalley and Tony Keen - managing director at SN Group.
Founder of The Family Business Network, Sue Howorth said: “This is a great opportunity for business owners to collaborate with and hear from likeminded peers in their region. We believe that this peer to peer approach adds real value, which when combined with the support of professional advisors will certainly be a morning well spent. The event also offers an exciting opportunity for us here at The Family Business Network as we continue to build upon our presence and across Lancashire and the Northwest.”
Stephen Gregson, corporate finance director at MHA Moore and Smalley added: “Many businesses share a common range of challenges and opportunities, whatever their size or sector. In this session we get to explore a little more deeply what these might be and what business owners should particularly bear in mind when planning and delivering on their strategy for the business.”
Pauline Rigby, partner at Forbes Solicitors said: “We are looking forward to hosting this seminar in conjunction with MHA Moore and Smalley, Natwest and The Family Business Network. It is a great opportunity for family businesses within the area to get together, discuss topical issues and get to know one another.”
The event takes place on 23rd May 8-10am at Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club. The event is free to attend, but advance booking is required to reserve a space. For more information or to book your place please visit www.fambiznet.co.uk/events
