Recently the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, announced that the £3,000 incentive payment for hiring an apprentice has been extended until the end of January 2022. Businesses all over the North West have been turning to NLTG to help them find and train their new apprentices.
NLTG has more than 300 apprentice vacancies across the North West. It's a chance for individuals to earn while they learn, and create a future career path. NLTG vacancies are available in diverse areas from hospitality to furniture making, and job roles include trainee chefs, digital marketing assistants, and IT technicians amongst other great opportunities.
Gareth Lindsay, managing director of NLTG said: "We're seeing some really fantastic opportunities coming through in lots of different fields of work. The announcement of the incentive extension could be just the prompt for businesses to take the plunge and take on an apprentice - or more than one.
"We're really encouraging people to consider Apprenticeships as their next step in training and employment. They get paid, receive high-quality training specific to their job and field of work, and it really suits some people to train while they're working. Our employers tell us they really value their apprentices and how keen they are to learn, and there are people in top jobs who started out as apprentices.
"We have two apprentices currently training in Michelin-starred restaurant Northcote in Lancashire, and their head chef started out as an apprentice himself just eleven years ago. The sky really is the limit once you've trained on an Apprenticeship."
Apprenticeships can be a great option for young people or those wishing to change career. NLTG has over 300 live vacancies for Apprenticeships right across the region on their website. For more information please visit www.nltg.co.uk
