Accrington-based training provider North Lancs Training Group (NLTG) brought Easter cheer to Hyndburn after donating hundreds of Easter Eggs to a number of local charities.
The eggs were delivered on Friday 8th April and Saturday 9th April to Maundy Relief, Carers Link Lancashire, Aawaz, Hyndburn Food Pantry and the Raza Jamia Masjid Mosque.
All of the donated eggs included a special message for their recipients, detailing the opportunities available to them at NLTG, including Apprenticeships, Study Programmes, Traineeships, Commercial Courses and Courses for Job Seekers.
Gareth Lindsay, managing director of NLTG, said: “These local groups are a vital part of our community and this Easter we wanted to do something to show our support, and give a little bit back to them.
As well as being able to enjoy an Easter Egg over the Easter period, we are delighted to be able to showcase the different opportunities available here at NLTG and we wish the recipients of our Easter Eggs the very best for the future.”
Stacy Walsh, organiser at Hyndburn Food Pantry, commented: “I just want to say a massive thank you to North Lancs Training Group for a really generous donation of Easter Eggs.
"They will be going out to all the children that visit us and all the families that have children who use our services.”
Carolyn Teed, finance officer at Carers Link Lancashire, added: “What a lovely surprise we have had from NLTG, with the donation of all these Easter eggs for our young carers, who will be so grateful.
"As you know young carers are greatly unappreciated, have a hard time and anything they can get which helps improve their lives, the better.”
NLTG supports local people with Apprenticeships, Study Programmes, Traineeships, Commercial Courses and Courses for Job Seekers. You can learn more about these opportunities by visiting www.nltg.co.uk or by calling 01254 395 355.
