Burnley FC in the Community is delighted to launch the brand-new website for Whitehough Outdoor Centre in Pendle.
Marking a new era in the site’s 80-year long history, this digital space will allow new and returning visitors alike the opportunity to explore everything Whitehough has to offer.
Operated by Burnley FC in the Community since 2017, Whitehough is a 22-acre site situated in the Pendle countryside, just 20 minutes from Burnley town centre.
Inclusive of 64 person capacity dormitories, a camping field and a Lodge, Whitehough can accommodate both large and small educational, corporate, community and tourist groups. The site also includes two classrooms, a large dining room and a 40-seater conference suite.
As well as this, Whitehough is home to a variety of outdoor activities including archery, a leap of faith, orienteering, survival skills and abseiling – and all activities are delivered by qualified Outdoor Elements instructors, approved with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.
With bespoke visitor options available from residentials, day visits and business away days, the Whitehough experience can be tailored to the requirements of each and every guest.
Burnley FC in the Community’s marketing and communications team has once again worked closely with digital partners +24 Marketing to bring facility’s first ever website to life.
The Burnley-based agency has previously worked with the charity’s in-house team to design and develop Burnley FC in the Community’s main website as well as the websites for Burnley FC Women and The Leisure Box.
Siobhán McNamara, Marketing and Events Manager for Burnley FC in the Community said: “We hope this website will give users a real feel for everything that’s going on at Whitehough.
“As ever, it’s been a fantastic experience working with local providers +24 Marketing to develop the website. We’re absolutely delighted with the result and we hope users enjoy the new Whitehough digital experience!”
