Michela will use a masters degree in human resources development to help build employee confidence, skills and knowledge.
She takes over the role from the retiring David Kinson who, during his 30-year career with the company spearheaded a number of initiatives, including introducing online learning, expanding the Johnsons Academy and developing the first specific National Vocational Qualification for Laundry Operatives. Michaela said: “I am also looking forward to taking a proactive role in driving staff development forward and to contributing to the strong culture of continuous improvement that is integral to Johnsons Apparelmaster.”
