Jade Fletcher from the Fylde is the latest recruit to be appointed to the team at flagship care home, The Moorings in Lytham St Annes.
Twenty five year old Jade joins the company as deputy manager. She started her career in domiciliary care when she was just 19 years old. She initially wanted to work with people with disabilities, but had to be 21, so changed direction to work with the elderly and hasn’t looked back.Since then, Jade has worked her way up the career ladder, starting as support worker through to senior care worker, before taking on the position of deputy manager at The Moorings.
The Moorings is part of Lakeview Rest Homes, a group of four care homes in Lytham. Located on the promenade, the state of the art care home offers facilities that are unrivalled anywhere in Lancashire.Accommodation comprises 29 high quality spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities and sea views and offers residents a 12-seater cinema, complete with popcorn machine, hair and beauty salon and a library.
It’s currently undergoing a redevelopment, which will see the number of rooms more than double by the end of 2014, alongside an array of new facilities, including an indoor bowling green, games room and hydrotherapy spa.Jade says: “The standard of The Moorings really is five star.
