Jim was the only employee of NLTG when he started in 1973, over 45 years ago. He has lead the company superbly well for many years overseeing significant growth and much success. He was awarded an MBE from the Queen for his services to training in 2011.
Gareth joined NLTG in September 2000 as a hospitality tutor. He held team leading and senior management positions, prior to being appointed operations director in 2015. On the 1st August he started the next chapter of his career as managing director of the company.
Jim commented: “It has been a privilege to lead NLTG for the majority of my working life. We have a wonderful team and together, we have built a wonderful company, which has developed so many people’s careers over many years. I wish Gareth all the very best as he takes over the reins and I am sure, under his leadership, NLTG will continue to enjoy future success.” Since 1969, North Lancs Training Group have been one of the UK’s leading training and Apprenticeship providers. With the appointment of Gareth Lindsay as their new managing director, NLTG look ahead to the future to continue their long-standing success.
