Two new sponsors have signed up to support the Lancashire Business View ‘Net Zero Carbon Conference 2025’.
Read based Vital Heating Solutions and Burnley headquartered Low Carbon Energy will join Trident Utilities as headline sponsors.
The event is taking place at Crow Wood Hotel and Spa resort, in Burnley on June 18 between 8.30am and 1pm.
Benedict Ennis, managing director of Low Carbon Energy, said: “For us it made sense to get involved with the Lancashire Net Zero Conference.
“It’s local, it’s about making a real difference, and it brings together people who genuinely care about where we’re heading.
“It’s a chance to show our support for the businesses and communities driving change.
“There’s a real energy in Lancashire when it comes to tackling Net Zero, and we’re proud to be a part of it."
David Heap, managing director of Vital Heating Solutions, says it is their first Net Zero event.
He said: “It’s a brilliant opportunity to connect, collaborate and showcase the vital work we’re already doing to reduce energy use by up to 70 per cent for businesses across the region.
“We’re especially keen to explore new partnerships in the public sector, understand the frameworks available, and discuss practical pathways towards a low-carbon future.
“This conference is a fantastic platform to share ideas and push Lancashire forward together.
“As one of the region’s core businesses delivering bespoke energy-saving systems, we’re proud to be playing a key role.
“We’re also eager to open up the conversation around hydrogen transport and the broader ‘Project Union’ scheme. Project Union is a National Grid initiative to repurpose and build pipelines to transport all hydrogen across the country. We want to discuss it more and be part of it.
“For us, it’s about thinking ahead and helping shape a more sustainable, economically resilient energy future.”
Chorley based Crowberry Consultancy has been named as an exhibitor while Vantage Motors is a supporter of the event.
Joanne Hindley, Lancashire Business View sales director, said: “We are delighted to have Vital Heating Solutions and Low Carbon Energy on board as joint headline sponsors.
“Momentum is really building for the event with more speakers being announced.
“It is hosted at the stunning Crow Wood venue, which has taken steps to reduce their carbon emissions and generate their own power in a project with Low Carbon Energy installing 2,200 solar panels.”
Among the themes and discussion points include: wind power, green jobs and skills, how global supply chains impact Lancashire’s role in the green economy and funding for the green transition.
The event will be reviewed in full in Lancashire Business View’s Net Zero Carbon Report in the July/August edition of Lancashire Business View.
