Following a year of significant growth and new developments, Marketing Lancashire has appointed Maria Moriarty Eames as the company’s head of partnerships.
Ruth Connor, chief executive of Marketing Lancashire said: “I am delighted to welcome Maria to the Marketing Lancashire team. Maria’s extensive experience and skills working in a variety of sectors will be invaluable as we build on our success to date.
"We are currently developing a Lancashire economic narrative and the priority is to launch a shared vision with the private and public sector partners in the county, bringing them together behind this persuasive narrative that promotes assets and leverages the many opportunities available to the county."

Membership has grown by 15 per cent, predominantly from leisure businesses and suppliers and a new corporate partnership scheme will be launched in the autumn. Digitally, the organisation continues to break previous levels with visitlancashire.com attracting a record six million page views.
Double digit growth has also been seen via Marketinglancashire.com the organisation’s corporate website, which this year enjoyed it’s best ever year. This site promotes the county and shares news and activities relating to members, suppliers, business news and economic development and regeneration.
