The Pendle Networking Group is pleased to welcome new director Rachel Kay, who, with strong connections across the Pendle area, seemed the ideal choice.
The group was established in 2013, and the idea was to bring affordable, pay-as-you-go networking to Pendle. The monthly networking evenings are informal and designed to attract first time networkers and seasoned networkers alike.Rachel said: “I’m honoured to have been handed the reins by Kath Bell and Gillian Taylor, and I have some great ideas for 2015. I’d really like to expand the network, bringing together businesses of all sizes and industries to develop relationships and support each other.”
The first event under Rachel’s management took place on Tuesday 25th November at Tax Assist Accountants in Colne. With over 30 attendees, the night was an enjoyable evening for all involved. Rachel said: “I was delighted at the turn out and positive response from the evening. With a couple of local venues already in the pipeline to host events in 2015, including the new look Barley Mow Pub, I’d love to hear from any potential host venues in the Pendle area. The evenings are a great opportunity to showcase their premises to attendees.”
