The Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce has appointed Claire Chapman as its new chief executive, with Ann Morris stepping down after 24 years in the role.
Claire had previously worked with the North West Development Agency and Sheffield Wildlife Trust, and as a consultant supporting Lancashire-based SMEs and social enterprises.
Chamber President Jonathan Barker said: “Claire has a wealth of relevant experience which will benefit our members and help strengthen the chamber’s role in representing the interests of the Lancaster district’s businesses.” Ann Morris will step down at Easter.
