Marketing Lancashire has appointed Melanie Sensicle, an experienced professional in the field of destination management, organisational development and partnership working, to the role of associate director.
Melanie’s work helped transform the marketing of destinations such as Brighton and Durham.
Speaking about the appointment Ruth Connor, chief executive of Marketing Lancashire said: “Melanie has already brought her wealth of experience to the development of the new Visitor Economy Strategy and destination management plan for Lancashire, which will be launched shortly.
Melanie’s clients include Visit England for whom she acts as programme director for the Northern Tourism Growth Fund in which Marketing Lancashire is a key partner, which promotes the North of England to key international markets as part of the Northern Powerhouse.
