MP for Hyndburn, Sara Britcliffe supported the recent opening of Michael Holden Chartered Surveyors in Accrington.
Michael Holden Chartered Surveyors, Building Engineers and Commercial Agents has opened new offices at 11 Cannon Street Accrington.
This practice undertakes a wide range of professional work including residential and commercial surveys and valuations, expert witness reporting, rating and commercial agency. It also has representation in Bedale and in Kendal.
During the last 2 years Michael Holden FRICS has been working on several projects with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors both in residential and commercial surveying and was proud to be elected in 2017 to represent SME's on the World Governing Council helping to oversee the strategic and global development of this professional body which has 118,000 members worldwide. As part of this role he has travelled to Hong Kong and to New York to discuss matters in connection with regeneration, the 4th industrial revolution (technology), Urban Development and Townships.
More recently, he has been involved with the development of the RICS home survey standard which becomes mandatory in June this year for all RICS members undertaking residential surveys. Prior to this Michael was the technical author of the RICS practice note on residential building surveys and was a member of the RICS product development group for home surveys.
