Specialist recruitment provider Neville Gee has been bought by Salford-based Ideal Recruit for an undisclosed sum.
Ideal Recruit places candidates across the business and industrial sectors throughout the UK and works from offices on Salford Quays. This is the first acquisition in its buy and build strategy in the recruitment sector. The purchase of Neville Gee means it can now drive the business forward to achieve their ambition to become a UK leading provider of interim and fixed term contract staff.
The corporate finance team of North West accountants and business advisors, Cowgill Holloway, advised the management of Neville Gee on the sale.
Commenting on the sale, Paul said: “The firm has grown steadily since the early 1970s in what is a highly competitive market. This deal will provide the new management team with the resources to further grow the business and develop new revenue streams.” The vendors were advised by law firm Fielden Marshall Glover Strutt, while the buyers were advised by solicitors Bowcock Cuerden LLP. Funding for the deal was provided by Bibby Financial Services.
