Neil Bowker, commercial director of the Preston-based Bowker Group, has been appointed vice chair of the UK Warehousing Association's management board.
UKWA is Britain’s leading trade organisation for the logistics sector, with more than 700 members. Full members include warehousing and logistics providers as well as manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers.
Neil is one of the longest serving members of the association, and will be supported in his new role by Nicola Ridges-Jones, chair of UKWA.
Nicola said: “I am delighted that Neil has agreed to take on the position of vice chair. He has been a proactive and valued member of the UKWA management board for some years and I look forward to his continued contribution in this new role."
