November will become Female Entrepreneurship Month featuring a series of events and workshops in an initiative launched by NatWest and Boost.
The idea is a result of the Rose Review of female entrepreneurship which calculated that £250bn could be added to the UK economy if women started and scaled businesses at the same rate as men.
Currently, only one in three entrepreneurs is female and just 36 per cent of businesses supported by Boost, Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, are female-founded.
