A national company with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Blackburn’s new Cathedral Quarter is hoping that they can bring more jobs to the area.
The company, which was formed in 1997, delivers events, ranging from conferences and exhibitions to training courses and forums, all of which are specifically for the public sector.
“We are keen to grow in Blackburn and expand into more office space and we want to encourage people who were originally from the area, who perhaps have moved away when they went to further education or following their graduation, to come and see what we have in their hometown. “Many people believe that you must base yourself in the larger cities to get the rewards that their qualifications and experience deserve, but with companies like GovNet in state of the art offices, this is not necessarily the case anymore.”
